summer events by Terme Merano

From June to August, Merano's piazza Terme will once again become an outdoor stage for numerous concerts and events, from street art to concert films. The musical live acts range from pop and rock to classical and folk.

All events are free of charge.

On piazza Terme:

• ASFALTART street art festival, Friday 7 - Sunday 9 June, organised by Kunstverein Kallmünz
   
• SCHOOL'S OUT, Friday 14 June at 8:45 pm, rock-pop music by the Merano music school & the Scuola di Musica Vivaldi, organised by the City of Merano
   
• THE REPEATLES, Wednesday 26 June at 9 pm, organised by Terme Merano
  The wild 60s - Love, Peace & Rockn'Roll - The time of the ‘Beatles’! With the ‘Repeatles’, the music of the most successful band of all time still lives on today. Incredibly authentic!
  Celebrate, dance, scream along and experience the spirit of the ‘Beatles’ at piazza Terme in Merano.
   
• LIVE MUSE IN TOUR - MERAN EDITION, Friday 28 June at 8:30 pm, 4 bands on stage with rock and pop music, organised by the City of Merano
   
• OI&B ZUCCHERO - Tribute Band, Wednesday 24 July at 9 pm, organised by Terme Merano
  Who doesn't think of this one name when they think of Italy, summer evenings and good music? Exactly: Zucchero.
  The OI&B Zucchero Tribute Band fills an evening with his greatest hits and brings the unique magic of probably the most successful Italian blues musician to the stage.
  Look forward to a breathtaking show with hits such as ‘Senza una donna’, ‘Baila Morena’ and ‘Diamante’.
   
• CELEBRITY STARS, Friday 2 August at 9 pm, Ladies Show Dance from the 1970s to today, organised by the Tourist Office Merano
   
• HAYDN ORCHESTRA, Wednesday 7 August at 9 pm, organised by the Haydn Foundation with conductor Roberto Molinelli and the Haydn Orchestra of Bolzano and Trento
  Since 1960, the Haydn Orchestra has been a point of reference for music and musical education in our region. Its foundation was the first step towards an ambitious goal: to establish and network Trentino-Alto Adige as a cultural centre on a European and international level. Today, the orchestra is the centrepiece of all Haydn Foundation projects.
  As a modern ensemble with a diverse identity, the Haydn Orchestra forms a cultural bridge between East and West, between Central Europe and Italy. The orchestra is versatile and flexible in its formation, its repertoire and its venues - and aims to impress its audiences with new ideas and high artistic quality.
   
• BOBBY SOLO, Friday 9 August at 9 pm, Italian rock'n'roll icon, organised by Terme Merano
  A living music legend rocks piazza Terme.
  The Italian answer to Elvis Presley stormed the charts back in the 1960s with hits such as ‘Una lacrima sul viso’, ‘Zingara’ and ‘Se piangi se ridi’. Bobby Solo is still at home on many stages and rocks his audiences as much as ever!
   
• RON - Come una freccia in fondo al cuore, Sunday 11 August at 9 pm, Italian singer-songwriter, organised by the Tourist Office Merano
