  • South Tyrol Jazz Festival, 29 June at 9 pm
Sunlight brings together three representatives of the European jazz elite: Andreas Schaerer (CH), Soweto Kinch (UK) and Kalle Kalima (FI). They construct a sound world that leads into a maelstrom of energetic sounds, eruptive outbursts and quiet sound-painting miniatures. An intense musical dialogue between poetic reduction and lush improvisation.

  • WilliamT, 6 July at 9 pm
Rock 'n' Roll from South Tyrol: William T from Merano used to be on stage as a solo artist and Elvis impersonator, since 2004 he has been on the road with his band The Black 50's and won the International Rockabilly Contest in Germany in 2014.
Together with his friends Philipp Burger (Frei.Wild) and Chris Kaufmann (Truck Stop), he produced the single "Travelman", which is a real catchy tune. The soft ballad "Forever" is the new single and the first own production from his "Recording Sudio'94".

  • Concert by the Fanfara della Brigata Alpina JULIA, 16 July at 8.30 pm

  • Miss Südtirol Primary, 21 July at 8 pm
Who is the fairest of them all? Ten charming ladies will introduce themselves to the jury and show their best side with charisma and repartee. And in the end, six girls can be happy about their entry into the big Miss South Tyrol final.

  • Concert Haydn Orchestra, 25 July at 9 pm
Classical music lovers can rejoice: the renowned Haydn Orchestra is once again a guest at the Thermenplatz this year. Under the direction of Beatrice Venezi, the orchestra will play selected works by Armando Franceschini ("L'orchestra che canta") and by Wolfgang A. Mozart (Symphony No. 39 in E flat major, KV 543).

  • Mainfelt, 27 July at 9 pm
The successful folk rock band from South Tyrol sweeps across the stage raw, untamable and full of exuberant energy, thrilling their audience. "Unchained" is the title of the current programme and the motto of Patrick Strobl (singer and guitarist), Tim Kirschke (bass), Ivan Miglioranza (banjo) and Simon Springer (drums), who break the chains after a long standstill and are back on stage.

  • Street Art on Stage with the street artists of Merano (and the surrounding area), 31 July at 8.30 pm
This evening is dedicated to the street artists of Merano and the surrounding area in support of local street art. Eight artists and groups will present their creativity, from music to clowning and dance.

  • Anger, 3 August at 9 pm
ANGER, that's Nora Pider and Julian Angerer. They have known each other since they were teenagers, originally come from South Tyrol, now live in Vienna and make music together. The duo christened their debut album "Heart/Break", which is much louder and more self-confident than their dreamy previous EP. You notice immediately that ANGER are nothing but real pop lovers. Here, the genre is celebrated in all its facets. The fact that this sound is well received is also shown by the fact that they won the FM4 Award 2020, a renowned Austrian music prize that has also been won in the past by acts such as Bilderbuch, Wanda and Mavi Phoenix.

  • Music for the Soul, 4 August at 9 pm

Now it is finally time again to present themselves and their music live to an enthusiastic audience in concert halls and theatres large and small. Together with Simon Gamper (keyboards, accordion, trumpet, flugelhorn, bass, steel guitar, drums), Teresa Staffler (vocals, keyboards, percussion) and Max on acoustic guitar, the trio has created a very unique and intense sound, presenting both old and new repertoire from the cultural ambassador of the city of Bressanone, to which Max has been appointed in summer 2021.

And the best thing is: All concerts at piazza Terme are free also this summer!

We couldn't have done it alone, so: thanks to the municipality of Merano and the tourist office Merano.
