Our 5 indoor pool highlights

#1

Main pool (34 °C): The 240 m2 main pool is the centerpiece of the indoor area, offering a lot of space for relaxation and tranquility. You’ll find bubbling massage jets in various spots to help relieve muscle tension. If you’re in the mood, you can even swim directly outside to enjoy the fresh air.

#2

Saltwater pool (35 °C): Want to breathe in the sea air without going on vacation? The saltwater pool is enriched with natural sea salt, providing a gentle exfoliation as you relax in the pool. The constant water temperature of 35°C soothes your muscles and helps circulation.

#3

Hot and cold pools (37 °C / 18 °C) & whirlpools (37 °C): The alternating use of warm and cold water according to the Kneipp method strengthens the cardiovascular system, enhances circulation, and supports recovery. For those who prefer warmth, Kneipp therapy can be a bit of a challenge. However, settling into the warm, bubbling water of a whirlpool after the cold treatment is especially soothing for your body.

#4

Thermal water pool (33 °C): There are two thermal pools with healing water whose effects have been clinically confirmed. The unique power of the healing water at Terme Merano is attributed not only to its radon content but also to its ionization, mineral salt content, and the special combination of gases and metals. Don’t worry—the low level of radioactivity in the water is not harmful to humans; on the contrary, it has pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties and activates the body’s self-healing abilities.

#5

Kid‘s pool (34 °C): To make sure that the youngest guests can splash around safely or take their first swimming attempts, there is also a kid’s pool. At a comfortable 34 °C, the water is pleasantly warm. Next to the pool, there are a few loungers where you can relax while still keeping an eye on the kids.

BONUS: In addition to the pools, there are two more highlights that you can access for free with your pool ticket

  • Steam bath (100 % humidity, 40 – 50 °C)
  • Saline inhalation room (55 % humidity, 30 °C)

If you’re wondering what a saline inhalation room is, here’s a brief explanation:
Saltwater vapors are inhaled for their healing properties, since they are especially beneficial for allergies, respiratory conditions, and skin issues. Saline inhalation also soothes the bronchial tubes, helping with coughs and nasal congestion. However, if you’re feeling unwell, it’s best to stay home.

One thing is for sure: water makes you hungry

You can access our self-service restaurant from both the indoor and outdoor areas. Here, we treat you to freshly prepared pasta, a selection of fish and meat dishes, salads, and lighter snacks like toast, sandwiches, or fries. Of course, we also offer ice cream, coffee, and chips.
