A 1.200 m long tunnel channels the water directly from the thermal springs to Terme Merano. The area around Vigiljoch is characterized by granite, which enriches the mountain’s rainwater with radon, fluoride, and rare metals. The thermal water at Terme Merano is especially suitable for treating chronic respiratory diseases and rheumatic joint conditions. That’s why we use the water for thermal inhalations and thermal baths.
