Dr. Salvatore Lo Cunsolo, Medical Director of Terme Merano, offers general medical examinations and examinations for admission to treatments with thermal water.
-General medical examination: € 60.
-Medical registration appointment for treatments with thermal water: 60 €.
Treatments:
-Inhalation: 13€.
-Thermal bath: 30€.
We offer three types of inhalations:
- Steam jet inhalations
- Aerosol treatments
- Micronised nasal irrigation
Medical prescription & admission fee exemption
The inhalations at Terme Merano won’t break your bank. That’s because the cost of the aerosol treatments at the Terme Merano is partly covered by the Italian health service – if inhalations are prescribed by a doctor. The doctor’s prescription, mentioning the illnesses to be treated and the type of inhalation prescribed, must be presented at the reception of the MySpa area on the 1st floor. Please bring along your personal health card and (if available) a ticket exemption certificate. A medical registration appointment will then follow – please make an appointment early.
The price of 24 inhalations at Terme Merano is €55. Further discounts or ticket exemptions are provided for protected categories.

Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (August - November: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.)
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
The inhalation department is closed on 08, 25, 26 December 2023 and 01, 06 January 2024.
