What’s in it?
The thermal water of Terme Merano is truly unique. Granite rocks characterise the area around Monte San Vigilio and enrich the rainwater deep inside the mountain with radon, fluorine, and rare metals. The beneficial effect of the thermal water at Terme Merano is not only due to its radon content. The ionisation, the mineral salt content, and the special gases and metals also make the water so distinct. It is collected in a 1,200 m long tunnel and directed to Terme Merano.

How does it work?
The thermal water of Terme Merano is particularly suitable for the treatment of chronic respiratoryillnesses and rheumatic joint ailments. We use it for thermal inhalations and thermal baths where the therapeutic properties of the water are clearly visible:
- Soothing and pain-relieving effect on the central and peripheral nervous system
- Dilatation of peripheral blood vessels and antihypertensive effect
- Strengthening of the immune system of the respiratory tract
- Alleviation of allergies
Before therapy with the thermal water of Terme Merano, a medical visit to the medical director of the Terme Merano is required.
