The caldarium has a long tradition
Ancient Romans used to have saunas with steady, consistent warmth in a caldarium. This room is ideal for preparing for a sauna where the temperatures are higher and the heat is drier, for example preparing for a visit to the Finnish sauna. The humidity is 70% and the temperature is between 42° and 45°C in the caldarium. It cleanses the skin, stimulates the metabolism, loosens up tense muscles and strengthens the immune system.
