Wool, and especially sheep’s wool, is rich in the protective fat called lanolin. With their high sulphur content, the wool’s protein fibres have soothing effects and help relieve pain and harmonise body temperature. A bath in South Tyrolean sheep’s wool stimulates the microcirculation, strengthens the immune system, helps achieve relief from rheumatic disorders, arthritic conditions and arthrosis, and generally harmonises the functions of the organism.

A bath in pure new wool is an especially relaxing and warming experience. The soft wool of mountain sheep from the Ulten Valley is placed in a wooden tub without water so that its positive powers are transmitted via the bare skin.

This active agent complex stimulates the circulation, improves blood perfusion and helps reduce swellings and relieve pain – ideal for treating cellulite and varicose veins.
